Global Happiness Trends

Project Overview:
Global Happiness Trends explores the factors that influence happiness across countries around the world. Using data from the World Happiness Report (2015–2019), this project analyzes key indicators such as Economy, Family, Health, Freedom, Trust, and Generosity to uncover patterns and trends in life satisfaction. The goal is to provide a comprehensive view of what shapes well-being globally, backed by data analysis and interactive visualizations.

Project Workflow

Data Cleaning & Analysis (Python/Kaggle)

  • Collected and cleaned the World Happiness Report dataset to handle missing values and inconsistencies.

  • Conducted exploratory data analysis (EDA) to understand global happiness patterns.

  • Calculated key metrics such as average happiness per year, average scores per factor, and country-level comparisons.

  • Insights from this analysis informed the design of interactive visualizations.

Data Visualization (Tableau)

  • Developed interactive dashboards to visualize insights from the dataset.

  • Includes maps, line charts, bar charts, and scatter plots to help users explore relationships between happiness and key factors.

  • Added explanatory notes and descriptions to guide users in interpreting trends and comparisons.

  • Designed for interactivity, allowing viewers to filter by year, region, or factor for a deeper understanding.
